festivities of the fourth

Being in the retail business, it is rare that you get a holiday off. So Susan, being as fabulous as she is, gave me the fourth off to spend with Bryce without me even having to ask for it! :) It was one of the first days that Bryce and I have had in Seattle to just hang out with each other and do whatever. We slept in, then checked out this really ghetto but SO good little restaurant, Claire's Pantry, down the street for breakfast. In the afternoon, since Bryce was dying to see Wall-E, we went to see it. Absolutely loved it, it was so cute. The Nordstrom IT building that Bryce works in is downtown, and overlooks the water and the entire city. They opened up the building for IT employees to watch fireworks from the top of the building...so we went up to the top before dark, hung out and ate, until the fireworks started. From the top of the building we were able to see three firework shows. It was a blast to see everything from way up there. :) Needless to say, we had a great day. Hope everyone's fourth of July was great as well!

Here are a few pictures (we didn't get any good ones of fireworks because I only brought my stupid point and shoot...unfortunately that camera did NOT want to take pictures that night):

Glad you had fun. We were wishing we still access to the top of the SWKT to watch the fireworks, oh well!

Bytheway...are people staying at your place this summer? We were curious how your car was moved when they repaved the parking lot. Random magic! Are you staying in that place when you come back, or will you move?

Heather...remember when we use to be good friends and chat everyday (in the office, of course). Then you moved in next door and we NEVER saw each other except on Sundays. Ridiculous!
